Our commitment
£5 from every pack, for people affected by terrorism
Martyn's Law exists because of the families who lost someone at Manchester Arena on 22 May 2017, and the years they spent making sure other venues would be better prepared. We want this work to give something back to people living with the impact of terrorism.
Where it goes
Victim Support
Registered charity 298028
For the Support Hub for Victims and Survivors of Terrorism. The Hub offers free emotional and practical support to anyone in the UK affected by terrorism, including people who were bereaved, injured or witnessed an attack, first responders and carers.
It is run by Victim Support with the Peace Collective and West London NHS Trust, and commissioned by the Home Office.
Why we do this
Martyn's Law is named after Martyn Hett, one of the 22 people killed in the Manchester Arena attack. His mother, Figen Murray, campaigned for years so that venues would plan for what to do if the worst happened.
We built this service to help small venues do exactly that. It felt right that it should also support the people who know, far better than any of us, why it matters.
